We are excited to announce our 3rd year of Phil Dyer's Speed & Strength Development program. The feedback from every player who participated in the previous years, as well as their parents, has always been positive. The training is baseball specific.
Phil was Seton Hall University's strength and conditioning coach for every athlete there for many years, including being my strength & conditioning coach for my four years at SHU.
Attached is a letter from Phil, which explains more about the program, as well as dates, time, and cost. The program will run every Monday, Thursday and Friday throughout November and December. We understand that many players play other sports throughout the winter so we wanted to offer three days throughout the week so hopefully your son can attend at least one or two of the days each week.

NJ Nationals / Dynamic Speed & Fitness 3rd year Baseball Speed & Strength Development Program
I am excited for the start of our November/December portion of the Nationals Speed &
Strength development to get started. The October session was a big success – the guys that were able to come re-established the goals and concepts we have been working on the past two years and the new guys were able to learn the core lifts so when the November /December sessions start they are ahead of the learning curve.
Starting Monday, November 11th, from 6-7pm, with sessions running every Monday, Thursday & Friday in November and December. We will continue this development and build on the foundation that was set last year (for new athletes we work on building the foundation and getting them up to speed – they will not be left out of the process).
The big focus will be on triple extension (ankles – knees -hips all firing in synergy), core development (especially rotational dynamics), first step speed, overall body strength.
All exercises and drills will be instructed – all drills are to be done with good form and technique, concern is how well the exercise is done not how much WEIGHT can be lifted.
If we all work hard enough these young men not only should be able to run faster, hit the ball harder, have improved athleticism and balance, but just as important, have a great sense of work ethic and team cohesiveness.
Lets make this off-season not just a big success, but a HUGE success.

Cost for each session is - $15,
